HeyPaddy

Your whole life in one place, with a companion that notices.

HeyPaddy is a personal life-management web app for individuals who want their tasks, money, habits, mood and learning in one place, plus an AI companion they can talk to. The companion spots what is slipping and helps you get back on your feet. Nothing changes until you tap confirm.

What HeyPaddy does

  • Tasks that plan themselves: due dates, repeats, subtasks, and a “Suggest time” that finds the free slot.
  • Money in view: budgets per month, income, subscriptions, and where it all went.
  • Habits and mood: streaks, a 5-second check-in, and how your energy lines up with your days.
  • Learning that doesn’t go stale: courses and videos, study sessions booked for you, and daily news on each topic.
  • A companion you can talk to: ask by voice or text, and it answers with the right card, such as your budget status or a study session to confirm.

Why HeyPaddy asks for Google data

Sign in with Google. HeyPaddy uses Google sign-in only to authenticate you and create your account. We receive your name, email address, Google account ID and profile picture. You can also sign in with an email link instead.

Google Calendar (optional). Calendar access is off until you choose “Connect Google Calendar” in Settings. If you do, HeyPaddy asks for these permissions:

Lets HeyPaddy create a separate calendar named “HeyPaddy” in your Google account and add, update and remove events in that calendar only, for your tasks with dates, payments due, subscription renewals and project deadlines. It does not give access to events in your other calendars.
Read-only. Lets HeyPaddy see the list of calendars in your account, so it knows which ones to show events from.
Read-only. Lets HeyPaddy read events from your calendars and show them to you on the Calendar and Today pages. They are fetched when you open those pages and are not stored on our servers.

On our server only, we store the access credential Google issues for this connection, the ID of the “HeyPaddy” calendar, and the IDs of the events the app created, so it can keep them up to date. That credential is never sent to your browser or shared. You can disconnect at any time in Settings, which deletes the stored credential, or revoke access from your Google Account permissions page.

HeyPaddy’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used only to provide user-facing features of the app and is never used to train AI or machine-learning models.
