Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of HeyPaddy ("the app", "we", "us"), available at https://heypaddy.app and operated by Devtonic, a company registered in Nigeria. By creating an account or using the app you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
1. The service
HeyPaddy is a personal productivity app with an AI companion. It helps you keep track of tasks, habits, money, learning and more. We may add, change or remove features over time.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to enter a contract where you live.
- You sign in with Google or an email link. Keep your access to those accounts secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
- Give accurate information and tell us if you think someone else has accessed your account.
3. Plans and payments
HeyPaddy has a Free plan and a paid Pro plan. The Pro price is shown on the Plans page in Nigerian naira (NGN) before you pay. Payments are processed securely by Paystack; we never see or store your card details.
- A Pro subscription renews every month until you cancel. You can also buy a single 30-day Pro pass where it is offered, which does not renew.
- You can cancel renewal at any time from the Plans page or the billing portal. Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
- If a renewal payment fails, we may give you a short grace period before your account returns to the Free plan.
- We will tell you before changing the price. A new price applies from your next renewal after the change.

4. The AI companion
The companion uses AI models to answer, suggest and take actions you approve. AI can be wrong, so check anything important. It is not professional advice (financial, legal, medical or otherwise). Usage limits apply to each plan and are shown in the app.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the app for anything unlawful, harmful, harassing or deceptive;
- try to break, overload, probe or reverse-engineer the app, or bypass its limits or security;
- use automated means to scrape the app or send large volumes of requests to the companion;
- upload content you do not have the right to use, or that infringes someone else's rights;
- share your account or resell access to the app.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
6. Your content and data
What you put into the app (tasks, notes, links and so on) remains yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the app for you. How we handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy. You can export your data from Settings and ask us to delete your account at any time.
7. Third-party services
The app works with services such as Google (sign-in and Calendar), Spotify, Paystack and AI model providers. Your use of them is also subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or conduct.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep the app running but cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. We may update, suspend or discontinue features. We may update these Terms; the new date will appear at the top of this page, and continuing to use the app means you accept the changes.
9. Ending your account
You can stop using the app and ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing support@devtonic.info. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or misuse the app.
10. Disclaimer and liability
The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under Nigerian consumer law that cannot be excluded.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Nigeria have jurisdiction over any dispute.
